Good day, we’re organizing a craft market on the South Coast and are looking for crafters who want to sell their products. Would you please send us some names of people who came to your craft show. Kind Regards Marita

      Hi Tracy,

we’ve had a bit of a delay from the baker for the Christmas Cakes this year, but almost all Lions clubs should have their cakes available for sale from the end of this week or early next week.

If you are in the Durban North area or surrounds, our own club will be delighted to sell you some cakes if you want them. We will have them available every Sunday at the Golden Hours market (on the corners of Uitsig and Radar Roads in Durban North (more details are on the first item on our fundraising page:

Alternatively, we could arrange to meet with you for you to get some cakes if you wish?

Our Club, Crusaders Bowling have been collecting coins, originally for the “Save the Rhino” cause and now have two bottles filled with coins. Who do we give this too ? Kindly let me know.
    Thank you.

      Good day Ron,

that is extremely kind of you all – thank you for continuing your generous collection. We could arrange to collect them from you at a convenient time, either at the bowling club or some other suitable venue. Alternately if you prefer, we will be at the Golden Hours market grounds at 9:30 on Saturday 8 Dec to set up for our Christmas Concert in the evening – you would be welcome to bring them then if that is convenient for you. We will also obviously be at the market on the Saturday evening, so if you were coming to the Christmas Concert we could gladly take them from you there, or otherwise we man a stall at the Golden Hours market every Sunday from 10:00 to 15:00 – the Lions on duty will be delighted to take the coins from you there as well, if that is preferable.

      Thank you
      Lion Kim van Wyk

I have a lot of pieces of fabrics that can be used for quilting that I would like to donate to a charity that can use them. Please contact me if anyone is interested.
