Sinakekele Hop To It fun day

The club sold colddrinks, wors rolls and popcorn at the Sinakekele home for abandoned babies’ fun day on the Easter weekend, both raising needed funds and supporting the home in their excellent work.

Survivor Afternoon

Lion Vicki van Wyk organised an afternoon of “Survivor” style team challenges which was very well attended by the club and many of the member’s friends and family. Everyone had great fun and really enjoyed their day. Some photos of the day are below:

Lions Information Evening

The North Durban club organised an information evening at its clubhouse, to inform invited guests about the club and its activities. The evening was well attended and the guests were very interested to hear about the club’s work. The municipal councillor for the Durban North area, Shaun Riley also came along and was equally interested in the club’s service to the community.
The club was donated a beautiful double bed quilt by the Quilters-by-the-Sea quilting group. The club raffled the quilt and raised several thousand rand from the generosity of the quilters.  The quilt was handed over to the winner, Mr J Austin at the information evening.
